Lifestyle
One
of the most reasons for acne. We know that changing lifestyle can sure avoid us
many of diseases but the problem is that we never change it. Because not
everyone can sleep eight hours, eat three time good meals, and drink eight
glasses of water a day.
But
now it’s time to change it. Because just by doing some changes in your
lifestyle you can control acne. You have to sleep 8 hours, eat good meals and
drink a lot of water. You have to make clear that never pick or squeeze pimples.
Never touch it with your hand.
Open
the pores
Occasional
visits to an esthetician who is an expert at removing blackheads can be
beneficial.
Wash the face daily
Oil
on the face can make acne worse. So you have to start washing your face daily
with mild shop and warm water.
Cleansing
and skin care
We
read about many acne products in fashion and style magazines. But I can tell
you one thing there is no magic product that is right for every person and
situation. So you have to try I can’t say which one works for you.
- Mild cleansers: Wash your face twice a day with a mild cleansing bar or liquid like Dove, Neutrogena etc. It will keep the skin clean and minimize sensitivity and irritation.
- Using masks: You can use mild scrubs, exfoliants. These products may contain salicylic acid in a concentration that makes it a very mild peeling agent. These products remove the outer layer of the skin and thus open pores.
Reducing bacteria
- Antibacterial cleansers: The most popular ingredient in over-the-counter antibacterial cleansers is benzoyl peroxide.
- Topical (external) applications: you can apply gels, creams, and lotions, which are applied to the affected area. The active ingredients that kill surface bacteria include benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, and resorcinol.
Benzoyl
peroxide causes red and scaly skin irritation in a small number of people,
which goes away as soon as you stop using the product. Keep in mind that
benzoyl peroxide is a bleach, so do not let products containing benzoyl
peroxide come into contact with fabrics, leaving unsightly white spots on
colored clothes, shirts, towels, and carpets.
Reduce
the oil
Acne
forms due to oil on your face. You can’t stop to producing it. So what you can
do is to get rid of oil on the surface of the skin and reduce the embarrassing
shine.
- Use a gentle astringent/toner to wipe away oil. (There are many brands available in pharmacies, as well as from manufacturers of cosmetic lines.)
- Masks containing sulfur and other ingredients draw out facial oil.
- Antibacterial pads containing benzoyl peroxide have the additional benefit of helping you wipe away oil.
- Facials: While not absolutely essential, steaming and "deep-cleaning" pores is useful, both alone and in addition to medical treatment, especially for people with "whiteheads" or "blackheads.
- Pore strips: Pharmacies now carry, under a variety of brand names, strips which you put on your nose, forehead, chin, etc., to "pull out" oil from your pores. These are, in effect, a do-it-yourself facial. They are inexpensive, safe, and work reasonably well if used properly.
- Toothpaste: One popular home remedy is to put toothpaste on zits. There is no medical basis for this.
Healthy Diet
Alkaline forming foods are best, although you can eat small
portions of acid-forming foods. Acid-forming foods include fried foods, rice,
white breads, milk, cheese, yogurt, etc. Alkaline foods are fruits, vegetables,
seeds and nuts. Acidic foods build up
toxins in your body while alkaline
foods eliminate such toxins and maintain a clean digestive system. This
helps to keeps your skin clear and clean.
